The choir was formed in 1947 and have won all the major competitions including 3 firsts at Llangollen and in 1995 became the first British choir to win outright the Gold Award at the Malta International Choir Festival. They've appeared at the New Vic every Christmas for more than 30 years - a remarkable tradition that means as much to the Choir as it does to us. Formed in 1947 to compete at the 1947 Llangollen Eisteddfod, 2017 sees them celebrating their 70th anniversary.
