Juan Diego Florez archiveRecognised as one of greatest tenors in history, the Peruvian tenor has appeared at all the world's leading opera houses, concert halls and music festivals, including the iconic Last Night of the Proms concert in 2016. He has received numerous accolades and awards, including Peru's highest distinction, the ?Gran Cruz de la Orden del Sol'. He is a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, and in 2011 founded the 'Sinfonia por el Peru', an inclusive social project which runs orchestra and choir workshops for underprivileged youth. Peruvian tenor, Juan Diego Florez made his official operatic debut in 1996 in Matilde di Shabran at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, where his expressive voice and astonishing agility immediately won him critical accolades. Since then, Flórez has become the tenor of choice in major international theatres. One of the most popular chamber orchestras in the world, the Wurttembergisches Kammerorchester of Heilbronn will be conducted by multi-award winning conductor Alessandro Vitiello.
