CORONAVIRUS: 22Feb21 UpdateAll UK venues closed on 16th March 2020. After the Prime Minister's announcement it would appear that, subject to continued control of the virus, venues may re-open with social distancing and limits on audiences from 17th May. Social distancing restrictions may be removed from 21st June. We will continue to update our listings as much as possible to reflect the changes as/when they are reported.
This festive and uplifting concert will be making its first appearance in Preston this May - the last stop on a highly successful UK tour. As always, the event boasts a rousing programme of cherished classics with highlights including the exotic Hungarian Dance, Rossini's energetic overture to The Barber of Seville and Bizet's ever-popular Pearl Fishers Duet. Of course, no Spring Proms celebration would be complete without an exhilarating finale of your traditional Proms favourites: Land of Hope and Glory, Jerusalem and Rule, Britannia!, accompanied by much enthusiastic flag waving!Performers Philip O'Brien (tenor), Benedict Nelson (baritone).
