'Mouth' is a series of music theatre pieces each related to the story of the Tower of Babel, a story with a particular resonance for this choir with its singers of diverse styles and cultures. The singing is acapella and the pieces are simply staged. The aim of aim of Shout is to be a group whose individual personalities are revealed by the music and who are given freedom to sing solos and to improvise yet be capable of homogenous effort - a vocal big band.
