Michael Morpurgo reads from his story of Thomas Peaceful to the accompaniment of songs especially written and arranged by a cappella trio Coope, Boyes & Simpson. The moving story moves between laughter and tears - from childhood in a Devon village to the trenches of the Western Front in the First World War. This unique performance follows the hugely successful Bristol Old Vic production of Private Peaceful that ended up in the West End and off-Broadway in 2006.
