A selection of pieces from this ground-breaking new anthology, ‘Real Books’ originated in the US in the 70’s as unlicensed anthologies used by musicians to perform jazz standards. Real Book North West, launched in 2007 by NW Jazzworks, is made up of 100 original compositions from 60 of the regionís finest jazz composers and is the first to focus solely on UK artists
