The Millennium Proms archiveThe shows will comprise the full scope of the classical repertoire, including music, opera and dance, in the special celebratory programmes. The show is timed to finish at 21:30 on New Year's Eve so that the audience have plenty of time to travel to where they will actually spend the turning of the Millennium. The Millennium Proms will include Greensleeves, Rhapsody In Blue, Blue Danube Waltz, the Overtures from The Force of Destiny and The Yeomen of the Guard, Meditation from Thais and excerpts from The Four Seasons, Cavalleria Rusticana. La boheme, Swan Lake and Orpheus in the Underworld. The concert will finish with Fantasia on British Sea Songs, Rule Britannia, Jerusalem and Land of Hope an Glory. Presented by Raymond Gubbay
