Exploring a historical London and its people from over 100 years ago, this evening of work in progress will draw inspiration from specific theatrical sources such as the first opera to be performed at the Victorian playhouse, and those who famously graced the Coronet stage such as Sarah Bernhardt, to the wider historical themes of the period including the Belle Epoque, and a world on the verge of political upheaval. Three choreographers join our Artistic Associate Hubert Essakow in creating 4 new short dance works that celebrate 1898: the year that the Coronet was built. Running time: 60mins approx.
