Award winning Aakash Odedra Company pushes the boundaries of narrative style dance using a movement vocabulary which blends contemporary dance, Kathak and Bharat Natyam. Rising is a new evening of work performed by Aakash Odedra, exploring different processes and aesthetics to create a new personal language. Performing extraordinary solos in the traditional dance forms of Kathak and Bharatanatyam, Aakash creates a compelling new fl avour of contemporary dance.
