Introdans, one of Europe's leading touring companies, visits the Linbury Theatre to perform an amazing programme of neoclassical dance works from its award-winning repertory. Dutch Masters presents a captivating mix of pieces from choreographers Hans van Manen, Nils Christe and Jir? Kylian. Hans van Manen's Polish Pieces, set to music by G?recki, is one of his most effervescent and colourful works. Andante is Hans van Manen's most famous ?ballet for two', and uses music by Mozart. In Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen, Jir? Kyli?n translates music into a beautiful dance, reflecting the diverse emotions of Mahler's composition. Nils Christe created CANTUS specially for Introdans, to music by Arvo P?rt. It is a work of power, electricity and dynamism.
