Details

The ballet explores the relationship between love, sex and the corrupting power of money. In the courtyard of an inn near Paris, the Chevalier Des Grieux encounters the young, provocative Manon Lescaut. For both of them, it is love at first sight - but Ges Grieux has not counted on Manon's fascination with luxury, nor on her brother's determination to exploit her beauty for his own ends. Generously supported by The Gerald Ronson Foundation and Susan and John Burns (Benefactors),
