They mark out Jeyasingh as the brainy moderator of an absorbing dialogue between two strands of experience. Palimpsest finds her six dancers mining a richly allusive vein. The dance is written across the urgency of [Graham Fitkin] s music. The atmosphere is more jangled in Surface Tension. Here angular, off-kilter movements share the nervous energy of [Kevin Volan] s wonky score.
