The Dog Kennel Hill Project is a collective comprised of Ben Ash, Henrietta Hale and Rachel Lopez de la Nieta - three highly individual and experienced dance artists with the goal of collaborative creation. Their work is characterised by its subtle wit, resistance to tried and tested definitions, and its ability to surprise and intrigue. For The Odd Honesty Code they are joined by performer Scott Smith and continue their ongoing collaboration with sound artist Angie Atmadjaja. The work is a convoluted odyssey through alien cultures and totems, unravelling strange codes in sounds, song and text, while confronting demons with intense physicality. Man or Fish is a series of stripped down experiments last seen in The Place Prize 2006 finals, choreographed by Henrietta Hale and performed by Ben Duke and Seke Chimutengwende, who distil the elements to their barest essentials.
