NT Shell Connections is a partnership between youth theatre, children's playwrights and flagship theatres nationwide supported by Faber and Faber, Shell UK and The National Theatre Bridge to the Stars follows the moonlit adventures of 11-year-old Joel. He has no friends so he forms his own secret society, embarking on missions while the town is asleep. Rolf is new to the town and his belief that a secret society should be about creating distress and fear leads to the terrorization of a lonely woman and nearly costs Joel his life.
