Grimm's fairytale. The classic story of two children sent into the woods. Unable to find their way home, they find a cottage made of cake and candy. Here lives a wicked witch who locks Hansel in a cage and tries to fatten him up ready for her to eat. Lost and abandoned in a dark and eerie wood by their poor father who can't afford to keep them and a cruel and selfish stepmother who wants them out of the way, Hansel and Gretel despair of ever finding their way back home. Here in the woods dangers lurk, as they find out, when hungry and starving they are lured to a chocolate covered gypsy caravan - the home of the frighteningly wicked Stregamama. And she's always looking for young healthy bones to fatten up for her supper. Can Orin the powerful Faerie-King, the wandering minstrels Rab and Moff and their monkey friend come to the rescue in time to save poor Hansel from the cooking pot?!!! Age 6+
