CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020 but restrictions were lifted on 19th July 2021 with venues free to run shows to full capacity audiences after that though there are still issues with company members being forced to self-isolate on being 'pinged'. In September it is possible that a COVID vaccination certificate (or exemption) may be mandated for entry. Please note that iUKTDb archive listings between March 2020 and July 2021 may not be accurate as we did not receive details of all rescheduled and cancelled shows.

The classic Swiss story of the irrepressible little girl with a big heart who changes the lives of everyone she meets is brought to life in this production... but with a sidesplitting twist... it will be told by a herd of hysterical mountain goats! Join the goats as they present this enthralling story about family and friendship as seen through their eyes - if they manage to behave and stop eating the script. Broadsides bring to life the classic tale of Heidi, the irrepressible little girl with a big heart who changes the lives of all she meets. But this stage adaptation has a twist. The story is seen through the eyes of a band of unruly goats. Sent to live with her stern Grandfather in the Swiss Alps, Heidi learns about the mountain way of life but is soon unhappily torn from it to go and live in the big city as a companion to the wealthy invalid, Clara. How will Heidi cope in the stiff formality of the rich household? Will she ever see her beloved Grandfather and her best friend Goat Peter ever again? Will the goats ever behave?! Run time 90 mins with interval
