The magical show for children of 6 years and over and their families, including shadow puppetry and live music. Like a painted bird in her exotic costume, Chattering Margaret chants her rhyme like a witch's spell: One for sorrow, two for joy, Three for a girl and four for a boy, Five for silver and six for gold, Seven for a secret that has never been told. She has gathered up the children's stories and kept them safe - but what is the secret? Familiar characters are woven into the magpie's nest of stories and memories mixing the sad with the joyful - a visual delight, and a real treat for the children. Performance lasts around an hour.
