Details

Flora, The Red Menace archiveBased on the novel Love is Just Around the Corner by Lester Atwell. Set in America in 1935 Flora tells of a young woman determined to succeed in New York as a fashion illustrator. She falls in love with a radical young artist who, like many youthful idealists, believes that communism could lead America out of the Depression and into a better world. Flora's love leads her to join the Party but with surprising and sometimes hilarious results.
