Lock Up Your Daughters archiveLondon, 1735. Hilaret, unversed in the wicked ways of the world, leaves her over-protective father's house, determined to elope with her beloved Captain Constant. Separated from her maid, Cloris, in a street scuffle, she finds herself confronted by a distinctly virile young gentleman called Ramble. Her cries for assistance only lead her to further peril for she and Ramble are both hauled on trumped-up charges before the rogue Mr Justice Squeezum.
