A black comedy from world-renowned director David Pountney and Peter Maxwell Davies, Mr Emmet Takes a Walk follows the journey of a businessman pursuing his ultimate contract. Pountney's libretto and direction set free Maxwell Davies' versatility of style, with numbers ranging from music hall to advertising jingles and a Piaf-style Torch Song.
