CORONAVIRUS:All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020 and look like staying closed until March 2021 with the exception of a few, patchy, openings (and subsequent closures) towards the end of 2020. Some open-air, drive-in venues have been opened for periods and many shows are now streaming on-line. Sadly, some venues and shows may not survive. We are updating our listings as much as possible to reflect the changes as they are reported.
Peppered with glorious close-harmony renditions of hits from the 60s and 70s, this bittersweet comedy follows five students from graduation night in 1975 to their reunions. Blissed out and dressed as a Womble it's as difficult to imagine Keith as an entrepreneur as it is to imagine juvenile Tim hitting the big time as a television presenter. Poor frumpy Angela seems condemned to making the best of her bad grades and it's unthinkable that Scott and arty smarty-pants Bryony will do anything but live happily-ever-after together. But what happens when jealousy, fate and a few self-improvement books get chucked into the melting pot?...Performers Gordon Cooper (Keith), Jessica Oyelowo (Angela), Mark Stobbart (Scott), Gilz Terera (Tim), Madeleine Worrall (Bryony).
Author Simon Moore. Author Jane Prowse. Producer Chichester Festival Theatre. Director Angus Jackson. Design Michael Taylor. Lighting Chris Scott. Sound Kay Basson. Choreographer Scarlett Mackmin. Director Neil McArthur (music).
