User Review: 16Aug01: I caught West Side in Bath and must say I thought it was a very slick performance. Ben Wheeler did a brilliant job as 'Action' as did Emma Clifford in the role of 'Anita'. The dancing was strong, though 'Tony' was a trifal weak vocally, I would be interested to see Ben Wheeler as a Tony cover.

User Review: 06May01: I strongly disagree with 'wos' review. This is surely one of the best, and strongest, production of this magnificent show ever!! A fantastic cast showing great vibrancy and quality of emotion! The 'Gee, Officer Krupke' number expertly lifted us all at just at the right moment with all the Jets showing a great flair for comedy! Not a dry eye in the house at the end and the finale was performed with as much freshness and enthusiasm as the first number of this gruelling show, sending us home ecstatic at having experienced such a wonderful performance by the entire cast. A definite 'must see', even if you've seen it before because this really is a FANTASTIC rendition.
