Ever wondered what it takes to be a social media influencer? Wonder no longer, as Julie from Julie's World takes you on a journey of discovery into the crazy world of twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. She covers them all with her own inimitable style. From how to change a tap, to her latest guitar cover, to learning to Kayak. Anything goes on Julie's channel. Julie's World is a comedic look into the strange, narcissistic self-obsession that is social media. Seen through the eyes of Julie, a stay-at-home mum. The world of Instagram and YouTube represent a way of escaping the mundanity of her life, helping her connect to others and boosting her self-esteem when she receives a like or an interaction. But it's not as easy as she first thought. Gaining followers without paying for them takes time and effort and other people's kitchens, bodies and babies make her feel inadequate. This is the world of Vloggers and Instagrammers whose highlight reels send Julie into a spin as she desperately tries to be as good as them.
