Details

A quest for love across opera, this piece premiered at the Aix Festival 2015 and has toured throughout Europe. It has its origin in The Magic Flute, but here Tamino leaves the stage mid-performance to begin a journey through four centuries of music from Handel to Britten and with two specially-commissioned arias.
