Details

The ancient story. Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, first performed in 1689, is inspired by Virgil's account of the myth which follows the burgeoning love of Aeneas, a Trojan prince, and the Queen of Carthage. Come and watch this exciting performance at The Albany in Deptford. Blackheath Halls Opera's intergenerational company and Trinity Laban students will work with professional opera singers.
