Belmonte, disguisd as an architect, arrives at Pasha Selim's palace in Turkey seeking his beloved Constanze who has been captured with her maid Blonde and his manservant Pedrillo. Once employed by the Pasha Belmonte and Pedrillo plan to rescue the women and make good their escape. (also called Il Seraglio). Sung in English
