Determined to find a husband for his beautiful daughter, Isabeau, King Raimondo organises a 'Tournament of Love' in her honour. Knights from around the country assemble to demonstrate their affection for the young Princess. But, to the King's dismay, Isabeau refuses to choose a suitor. As punishment the King forces Isabeau to ride naked on horseback through the town. While the people refuse to look, Folco, the King's falconer, accidentally glimpses her and is arrested.
