Adapted from David Lynch's 1997 cult film. Lost Highway is a psychological thriller that explores identity, dislocation and desire through the eyes of a troubled jazz musician. Neuwirth's score is an interplay of live and pre-recorded sound and electronics with echoes of Monteverdi, Weill, Porter and jazz.
