The Kombat Opera songbook comprises 1001 ariettes (songs lasting between thirty seconds and three minutes.) Composer Richard Thomas of Tourettes Diva and Jerry Springer the Opera tries out the first part of his epic song cycle, One Thousand And Wun. Part Wun features songs 1-101. Composed as a test of endurance for both composer and audience, Thomas claims the work is basically "the triumph of quantity over quality." Bring cushions and things to ease the longevity - you can leave at any point by the use of your legs. Thomas also promises to provide tea and 'Lambeth Cookies . Likely to feature bad language (and not just from those on stage).
