A small-scale opera, created as part of the work conducted by Opera North Education. Jane Buckler's libretto retells the famous legend with a score inspired by eastern European folk music, written by Kate Pearson. This production is performed by a professional cast and will feature a chorus from a local primary school. Commissioned by Opera North Projects
