They have been more exhaustively analysed and debated than any opera written. Rarely performed, to witness the four operas that make up The Ring is a truly overwhelming experience. Pocket Opera of Nuremberg's acclaimed chamber version of The Ring for two performances only lasts 4 hours, including an interval of 40 minutes. Sung in German with surtitles.
