Antwerp, 1900. Charlie Despard is struggling to repeat the triumphant success of his first novel when a case of mistaken identity sets in motion a catastrophic chain of events. Winner of the 2000 Munich/Zurich Chamber Opera prize, Edward Rushton has completed successful orchestral commissions from the London Sinfonietta and BCMG.
