Two short operas. Gordon McPherson with poet Tracey Herd, and David Fennessy with playwright Tom McGrath have created two works explicitly challenging what opera has come to be in this day and age. Fresh, vibrant, stimulating, provocative and - best of all - bitesize, these pieces showcase the talents that made them, and point towards all of our possible futures. New music for a new age.
