CORONAVIRUS: currently, all theatres and related venues are closed. Shows are either being cancelled, postponed or rescheduled and we are trying to keep up with all the changes. There are currently few changes after May 2020 and many shows that were due for April have been pushed back towards the end of Autumn. Pantomimes are looking like a safe bet at the moment ;-)

A traditional panto that features Robin Hood and his Merry Men trying to save the babes from the Sheriff. In its original (16th Century) version the babes were abandoned in the wood by their wicked uncle - and died! Pantomime soon saw them being rescued and returned to their parents and Robin Hood started to appear in mid-Victorian times.

Performers Harry Ward (Boabby Hood - hero), Felicity Drever (Eddy the Teddy - his bear), Aalyson Orr (Mari Ann - a maid), Stevie Hanan (Sheriff - villian), Johnny McKnight (Thick - a robber), Vincent Friell (another robber), Ross Stenhouse (Florrie - nurse and sometime fairy).
