Details

Performed by one person for an audience of thirty seated in a circle, this intimate yet epic adventure uses words and sound to conjure a vivid world, provoke imagination and tell the story of a resistance heroine who sets out to change her world. Inspired by graphic novels and insurrectionist texts, it is both a political comment and an improbable action adventure. A Thousand Shards of Glass showcased at Northern Stage's new venue at Edinburgh Fringe 2012. The performance style combines direct address, poetic storytelling, a richly immersive sound design and playful (but un-intimidating) audience interaction.
