In Douglas and Philpa's house everything is suitably stylish and awfully Ikea. Douglas, a prominent local councillor, has his sights set on higher things, though his wife has slightly more unorthodox plans for raising the readies to keep them in the style to which they have become accustomed. All might have gone to plan were it not for the Hairy Canary Tribe who are squatting in the house next door. Sledge and Darius are eco-warriors whose alternative lifestyle is upset when Philipa is forced to go underground and become the third member of the Hairy Canaries.
