Albert Nobbs finds the peaceful retirement he envisaged isn't all it's cracked up to be. He's bored, he's frustrated, his cholesterol's sky-high and his wife's nagging the hell out of him. However, his uneventful everyday life is suddenly shattered when his wife Connie dies. True to form Connie continues her nagging and interfering from 'beyond the grave' and even sets about matchmaking her forlorn Albert with best friend Rose.
