UKTW - 25 years online
CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020 and there is currently no planned re-opening time though it will not be before 1st June 2020 and is most likely to be September (according to some West End producers). Some shows have been cancelled, or closed early, but many are being rescheduled and we are trying to keep up with the changes - assume that anything posted for April to August is actually postponed or cancelled. It now looks likely that little will return till 2021.

Around the World in 80 Days archiveWhen Phileas Fogg and his faithful servant Passepartout board the train in London in 1875, he has only 80 days to travel round the world to win the wager between him and his friends at the great Reform Club. A grand adventure lies ahead, using conventional and more often unconventional travel arrangements; his journey will, of course, include romance, danger and surprises with the redoubtable Scotland Yard pursuing him at every turn. A cast of eight play over 100 characters in this imaginative, high-spirited escapade for all the family; including six trains, five boats, four fights, three dances, two circus acts and an elephant!
Performers Robert Portal (Phileas Fogg), Simon Gregor (Passepartout), Tony Gardner (Inspector Fix), Shanaya Rafaat (Mrs Aouda), Eben Figueiredo (ensemble), Tim Steed (ensemble).
Author Jules Verne. Adapted by Laura Eason. Director Lucy Bailey. Music Django Bates. Design Anna Fleischle. Lighting Chris Davey. Sound Mic Pool.
