In 1997, David Planell won the Hogar Sur Prize for comedy with Bazaar, which focuses on a group of culturally diverse characters and their attempt to get an accident video shown on a 'You've Been Framed' style TV programme. Alongside the hilarity of this absurd operation, the play exposes undercurrents of racism beginning to surface in central Madrid.
