This new version of Othello has been adapted to fit a small space using only six actors but with the essence of Shakespeare's original text. Newsflashes and phone conversations fill in the gaps to give a running time of about two hours. Desdemona finds herself on the threshold of a new life as trophy wife of an up and coming general.
