In a library in Eastern Europe, an elderly gentleman meets an elderly lady from Venice. She tells him her story and he writes it down. A lifetime of adventure and licentiousness; of dildoesque debauchery. Casanova the scribe takes down every word as if the story was his own. Now is your chance to find out the amazing truth of The Woman Who Was Casanova. This Theatre Nomad production will use a variety of world theatre techniques from Chinese Opera to Venetian Carnival, African Drumming and Italian Opera. A colourful and exuberant celebration of unbridled sexuality.
