Details

Paris before the 1st World War. Cheri, young, attractive and indulged; intelligent but illiterate has, since adolescence, been the lover of Lea, a woman nearly twice his age, a successful courtesan and his mother's oldest friend. When a profitable marriage is arranged for him, Cheri and Lea agree to part. But is the bond between them so easy to sever.
