User Review: 28Nov05: Don’t panic! There’s more to Christmas than panto - there’s Wick Theatre Company’s hilarious Sitcom Special to guarantee some fast and furious fun early in the New Year. This features an episode of the popular TV comedy Dad’s Army, by Jimmy Perry and David Croft. You’ll meet Corporal Jones, Sergeant Wilson, Pike and all the other members of Captain Mainwaring’s Home Guard platoon. They’re involved in recruiting some of the local ladies when an order comes through from the Colonel for a highly dangerous mission. The platoon is detailed to guard the crew of a captured U-boat, but will the wily German captain get the better of our brave team? A large cast features many well-known faces at the Barn, and also introduces several new ones. Directed by Tony Brownings.
