Memories are hung, secrets are folded and dreams are pegged on four miles of elastic washing line. Moving across and in-between boundaries of language, culture and place, fractured biographies reveal loss, yearning, joy and pain. Caught in a shifting frame of time and place, fragmented dialogues between selves-in-transit search to communicate. In moments of arrival and departure, snapshot portraits of unresolved identities are exposed. Set within the backdrop of contemporary Europe, located between British and Slovene experience, a vibrant international group of artists explore parallel journeys that have no maps. Divided is a contemplation of belonging.
