East End Tales archiveEast End Tales is a series of 9 short plays inspired by photos and news stories which was originally written with students from Mulberry School for Girls in Tower Hamlets. Deoxyribonucleic Acid: A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing. When a high school "it" group takes a joke too far, a lonely and terrified girl is missing, presumed...? Calling up contemporary media obsessions with 'real life stories' and dodgy old postmen with rotten teeth, Deoxyribonucleic Acid is a poignant and, sometimes, hilarious tale with a very, very dark heart.
