Flora's War archiveA funny but deeply moving account of one family's experiences on the 'Home Front' in Wales during World War II. Young Flora is at war with her sister Gwen, and the action escalates when re-enforcement's arrive in the shape of a young evacuee from London. Meanwhile, Gwen's defences come down when she falls in love with Chuck, an American G.I. And the wreck of her last pair of stockings becomes the trigger for full-scale hostilities. Over the past three years a remarkable trilogy of plays for young people has been created by Tim Baker, Clwyd Theatr Cymru's Associate Director and who runs our Theatre for Young People Department. As part of Clwyd Theatr Cymru's 25th anniversary celebration we are mounting a special day for young people and parents, when all three plays can be seen in one day.
