When Lindsay Tuffin, Northampton's new Mayor, makes her first speech at the opening of a new mobile phone pylon on the edge of town, she has little idea what lies ahead. Before long, many of the city's people are noticing peculiar changes in the personalities of their loved ones. Could the new pylon be transmitting a dangerous brain-altering signal? Or is the problem coming from out of this world?
