The back of beyond and the frustrations and narrowness of small town life take their toll on the friendship and loyalties of five young men who have grown up together. Luigi, ambulance man and king stud, Jean-Guy - ex jailbird and kidnapper of dogs, Jean Loup - leader of the group and yet lost soul, Abdel who rejoins the group from prison hoping for harmony and Bibi - somewhat of a liability since he has been retarded by a serious fall. Their relationships are full of humour and good natured banter but tensions and debts between them lurk in the background.
