The classical themes of pride and incest are brought vividly to life in the comedy Gladiatrix. In the dying days of Imperial Rome, a place full of debauchery, Vulva a noblewoman, is reduced to fighting in the arena as a she-gladiator. Vulva soon learns of the depravity of Rome which is startlingly brought to life by a supporting cast of prophets, gods and a lion.
