In the Great Castle of Gormenghast you will meet Steerpike, the pale power-crazed, ambitious kitchen boy; Fuchsia, the wild, romantic, raven-haired daughter of the Earl; and Titus, the timid, fine-boned rebellious heir to the whole corrupt castle.
